I can't say that I'm a Peter Pan fanatic, but think that the story is awesome. I saw the Finding Neverland movie about 2/3 weeks ago and thought it was alright. I then borrowed Peter Pan the 1924 silent movie with music and text from the library. I just finished it and loved it.
That's the first time I watch a movie like that and had a great time seeing the actual play performed that was in the Finding Neverland movie. I recommend you check your libraries to see if they carry it since it seems pretty hard to find.
I have two questions about the film:
1) What is it that Peter Pan gets played by a girl in this film? Was it really hard to find a boy to play the part? It just really confuses me.
2) Doesn't Peter Pan take place in England? Why was this film praising the United States? I don't remember the Disney movie or Finding Neverland to have anything American in it. It just struck me as weird.
That's pretty much it. I hope we get some more traffic in here or atleast have people post more often. Anyway, cheers.
